cat brown black grizzled

Thomas, wise

The name Thomas comes from Aramaic, meaning “twin,” which is appropriate since cats have dual natures: cuddly and callous, dainty and ferocious, demure and wild.

Thomas was mischievous in his youth, hopping up on his human’s desk and tracking paw prints across the fresh ink of a manuscript. Besides leaving smudged footsteps across the delicate calligraphy, Thomas had obscured a key phrase. Instead of “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..,” it read “…that all are created equal,” an attempt to change history.

Impish and wise, that’s Thomas.
